SYNOPSIS:

 

RULES OF PLAY, set in contemporary America and inspired by true stories, follows three people who take drastic, crazy action to gain power in a society that they feel has failed them. Lindsi, a high school senior, decides to auction off her virginity to raise money to pay for art school. Bob Malloy, 62 years old, determines to get sent to jail so he can finally receive medical care. And Evangeline, a 33-year-old singer who years ago had a hit single, tries to regain her former success while staying true to her artistic integrity. This piece celebrates those who fight the “system,” even if they don’t always win.
